BOOKINGS

An initial reservation may be made by telephone 0044 (0)1371 873727 or e-mail info@lerouquet.com and will be held for 5 days pending receipt of your Booking Form and either a deposit of 25% of the rental (or full payment if booking is made within 8 weeks of the start of your holiday).  We will then send confirmation of your booking.  A reminder for the balance will be sent a week before the date by which it must be paid.  We reserve the right to cancel the booking if payment is not received by the due date.

PAYMENT

Payments can be made by cheque, payable to Mrs J Holman or by electronic transfer to our bank account.

CANCELLATION CHARGES

You may cancel the booking at any time after it has been confirmed.  Cancellation must be made in writing or by e-mail.  The following cancellation charges will apply:

  More than 8 weeks before arrival – Loss of Deposit

*       Between 4 to 8 weeks before arrival – Loss of 50% of the rental

*       Less than 4 weeks before arrival – Loss of 100% of the rental

*       If through circumstance beyond our control, it is necessary for us to cancel, which would be totally exceptional, we will refund any monies paid, without  interest or further compensation.

OCCUPANCY

Each apartment is designed for a maximum of 4 people and linens are provided for that number.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE

The rental commences at 4.00 pm on the day of arrival and ceases at 10.00 am on the day of departure in order to allow cleaning prior to the arrival of the next guests.

UTILITIES

All rentals are inclusive of electricity and water.  Rental rates in the Spring and Autumn include heating.  The Balcony apartment has a built-in log fire (wood provided) and the Garden apartment has electric wall heaters.

CLEANING

The property will be cleaned before your arrival and beds will be made up.  When our representative (Teresa) meets you at the house you will be required to give her €50 in cash which will cover all cleaning and laundry charges.  However it is our policy that for any lettings over 2 weeks that Teresa comes fortnightly during your stay to clean and provide fresh bed linen, towels etc.  There will be an additional charge of €50 for each additional mid stay clean/linen change.

TELEPHONE

The apartments have no telephone and it is therefore recommended that guests bring a mobile phone which will also assist in contacting Teresa to confirm your time of arrival.  There is a public telephone in the village that takes pre-paid cards which can be purchased from local outlets.

INVENTORY ITEMS

No inventory items are to be removed from the house including linens and towels, you should bring your own towels for sunbathing and swimming.

INSURANCE

Guests are recommended to take out adequate holiday insurance to cover eventualities such as cancellation (for whatever reason), accident, sickness and damage as we cannot accept responsibility for any event beyond our control.

LIABILITY

We do not accept any liability whatsoever for death, personal injury, accidents, loss or damage to persons or personal effects however caused as a result of the use of the apartments.  The house is not suitable for young children as the garden is not fully enclosed and there are uneven stone steps in and around the property.  If however you still decide to travel with young children it is the responsibility of an adult member of the party to ensure that children are always properly supervised.

NO SMOKING POLICY

Please note we have a strict NO SMOKING policy.  Smoking is only allowed on the patio or outside the home.

INFORMATION BOOK

There is a Guest Book for guests to pass on hints and tips of where to visit, eat etc.  You are encouraged to add your comments and observations to help those that follow you to make the best of their stay.  In addition there will a selection of brochures in the house giving details of the many local attractions.
